The Carnation originates from West Asia and South Europe and pleases us in the summer with white, red, light pink and orange petals, that can be admired in the time from May to August. There are approx. 600 different varieties of this flower, which is also known under the name clove pink. Often, the flowering plant belonging to the family Caryophyllaceae is combined with elegant hydrangeas and peonies in bouquets.
