The Medinilla originates from the humid forests of the Philippines and pleases us in spring with light pink petals, that can be admired in the time from April to June. There are approx. 125 different varieties of this flower, which is also known under the names Philippine orchid and rose grape. Often, the flowering plant belonging to the family Melastomataceae is combined with stylish gloriosas and kangaroo paws in floral arrangements.
