DIY instructions:
Fir tree with cotton and fir branches
1. Wrap the floral foam with the wrapping paper and secure it with adhesive tape.
2. Wrap the cotton garland around the cone from bottom to top. Attach a staple every 10–12 cm to secure it in place. The end of the garland can be a little longer at the tip of the cone.
3. Now it's time to use the fir branches. First, separate the branches from the thick stems and then simply insert them into the gaps in the cotton garland. Only small pieces of the brown wrapping paper should be visible. The ends of the small branches can simply be inserted into the floral foam. If you like, you can also attach them with a hot glue gun.
Fir tree made of larch, robinia and cones
1. Wrap the cone with the coloured paper and secure it with adhesive tape.
2. Separate the individual branches of the larch hanger and attach them to the cone. Start at the bottom and work your way up evenly. Every 10–12 cm, attach the delicate branches to the cone with a staple. The top can be slightly longer than the cone.
3. Now break up the delicate pine branch and cut it into small pieces. Distribute these evenly over the cone and attach them with staples or hot glue.
4. Separate the branches of the robinia twigs from the stem again and stick them onto our little tree. Make sure they are evenly distributed. As little of the floral foam or green paper as possible should be visible. The robinia twigs are particularly suitable for this.
Mini fir tree made from amaryllis flowers
1. Wrap the cone with the paper and secure it with adhesive tape. Separate the petals of the amaryllis. Keep the centre part of each flower, which will later serve as the tip.
2. Use the hot glue gun to glue the petals onto the cone. Start at the bottom and work your way up, row by row.
3. Once the petals have been glued all the way to the top, you can place the tip on top. The tip is the innermost part of the amaryllis, which is not taken apart.
